Bitters: A Spirited History of a Classic Cure-All by Brad Parsons

We were at the bar at Brooklyn’s Prime Meats awhile back, and I mentioned to Damon Boelte, the bartender there, that his is my favorite Old Fashioned thanks to the house-made pear bitters in it. He responded by showing me an advance copy of this book, which contains the pear bitters recipe and some lovely photos of Boelte’s antique bitters bottle collection to boot. I’m very much looking forward to its release.
